Boxelder Bugs are SEED bugs. They aren’t coming to infest your home on purpose, but an out of control population OUTDOORS can start to creep inside. Here’s some tips on how to do that:

-Clear out your gutters

-Clear away piles of leaves, sticks, seeds, and other fallen tree debris.

-Trim trees away from the home, or remove problem trees ENTIRELY.

-Window screens, and weather-strip in gaps around doors

Utah has different kinds of ants that have different dietary needs, but by following these DIY Ant Control steps, you can keep the outdoor ant population away from your home.

-Broken sprinklers, overwatering, improper grading, and improper downspout positioning can provide an ant population with the moisture it needs to thrive. Most of Utah’s ants require moisture to thrive.
